Rope Opener Process .

The rope opener machine spreads and flattens the fabrics coming from rope processing and prepares them for wide working.
It is generally preceded by an unstitching machine which recovers the thread with two small cylinders of the seam of the sack-sewn pieces, by opening them.

Technology and processing execution
The fabric is located in a box placed on a rotating platform, called the carousel, (see figure A, point
5,) controlled by a unwinder, which has the purpose of removing the twists (tòrte) from the piece.
Then the piece must:
lie down for about 10-12 meters and therefore pass about 6 meters above the ground by an aerial pulley
(fig. A, 1) complete with self-adjusting brake and winder;
pass between two battipezza (fig. A, 2) rotating in the opposite direction to the advancement of the fabric e
placed transversely with respect to the pieces.
The rotation of the pickguard is synchronized so that they work in opposition to each other and is
opposite to the advancement of the fabric to keep it in constant tension with the machine.
The rubbing of the fabric between two spreading cylinders (fig. A, 3) completes the relaxation.
An oscillating barbell guides the fabric in a central position with respect to the machine (fig. A, 4).
The rope opener works almost always combined with the wide squeezer.
For the knitted fabric (very elastic both in width and in length), remember that:
it must not be subjected to strong traction; then use the accompanying cylinders and devices
expanders;
the opening of the tube is a delicate phase; for a perfect cut it must be done on the
circular machine the needle waste (a stretch mark along the entire length of the piece, obtained
by removing a needle from the circular machine). Otherwise it will be necessary to follow the trend precisely
of the wire.
The main organs of a cable lug (figure B) are:
a rewinding device (see figure B, point 1);
a tissue mixer (fig. B, 2);
the cutter (fig. B, 3) for opening the tube;
the reel (fig. B, 4), which floats the already open patches (wide).

Hydroextractor Process .

Hydroextraction (which is more convenient mechanically rather than for heating) is practiced:
before finally drying the fabric;
during breaks between the various wet processes, in particular after washing and dyeing.

CENTRIFUGATION HYDROEXTRACTION (BASKET)
Being a machine that does not work continuously and involves productivity downtime, the hydroextractor
in the basket it is less and less used and replaced by the wide squeezer.
The hydroextractor in the basket (see figure A) is composed of:
a cylindrical stainless steel basket (see figure B, point 1), closed at the base and drilled
in the circumference for almost the entire height.
When "loading" the basket, be careful to distribute well weight to avoid dangerous imbalances.
The basket rotates on a central pin (fig. B, 2)
driven by an electric motor (fig. B, 3) at a speed that, depending on the capacity
and of the diameter, it varies from 800 at 1500 revolutions per minute.
The whole rotating group is wrapped for protection, from a metal casing (fig. B, 4) armed
cover (fig. B, 5). The crankshaft is equipped clutch (fig. B, 6) that transmits speed to the basket
progressively.
The fabric, compressed by the centrifugal force against the perforated wall, loses variable percentages of water, depending on the type of fabric, from 65 to 70%.
The water comes out of the holes, collected from the crankcase and discharged out through a conduit (fig. B, 7). A brake (fig. B, 8) which acts at the base of the pin, stops the drum with the centrifugation completed.
Safety devices cause the power cut to the motor with the door open or open
rotation of the basket in progress.
